Day 2 of 365 Grateful Project

Holding hands

Holding hands

I actually missed the first day of the project so I’m on Day 1. I might have to take two pictures to make up for the first day.

Yesterday, I found the kids holding hands while voraciously munching on some baguette bread and cheese. Choua and I had been talking about how we were craving a good ol’ charcuterie plate.

He stayed home with the kids while I went to work. When I got home, we had both gone out that day to get all of the ingredients we needed. We had more than enough, but instead of waiting to eat it the next day; in grand Yang Household fashion, we ate it up in one night. Actually, we had enough to munch on for breakfast too.

What I am choosing to highlight today, in Day 2, is the love of my children for each other. I love those moments when they truly revel in each other’s presence…it fills heart to the verge of explosion.

1st preview

dsc_1500I don’t know why (actually I know exactly why), but I just love this photo!  Could he be any more handsome?  I took one year photos for my nephew, Kalel, over the holiday break. He was such a sweetheart. He’s simply amazing! He started walking before he was even 10 months old! Whenever I picture him, I always see him walking around on his short little legs, clapping his hands. He only does that when he’s happy. but he’s happy often. Don’t tell my brother and sister-in-law, but I’m going to steal him one of these days.

I downloaded another trial version of LR 2.0 onto my day job laptop–I am in editing withdrawal–but it’s making my laptop so freaking slow. The giant spreadsheet I was working on, for work, tonight took five minutes to save. Oh when will I get my official copy of Photoshop? Therefore, only one little preview. He’s also the crawling little apple bottom baby in my blog header.

happy new year!

Finally, I’m devoting some time to my new blog…I just added a personal header. I like it…for now…

Hope everyone has a great night tonight! It was a wonderful year and I am so grateful to have been alive and look forward to an even more rewarding next year.
